Conference Overview

The two-day National Conference on “Role of Young Generation & Women in Strong and Vibrant Indian National Power Grid”, held at Yashobhoomi (India International Convention & Expo Centre), Dwarka, New Delhi, brought together leaders, experts and professionals from the power sector to highlight the transformative role of women and youth in building a resilient, sustainable, inclusive and future-ready Indian power grid.

Day 1 Overview (December 11, 2025)

The conference concluded its first day with strong messages of empowerment, inclusion and future-readiness. The day also witnessed the unveiling of GridHER Chronicles, celebrating women leaders and achievers who have redefined the Indian energy landscape.

R.K. Tyagi (President, CIGRE India & CMD, POWERGRID): Emphasised that the energy transition will be driven by bold ideas and urged young professionals to challenge legacy processes and lead with ownership.
